Grand Rapids, MI — June 23AMQ announced the appointment of Tracy Shand as Territory Manager, where she will drive dealer engagement, growth, and brand expansion across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

Shand brings over 30 years of experience in commercial interiors and textiles, combining a strong design background with a proven ability to build lasting client relationships across the region.

Before joining AMQ, Shand served as a Sales Representative at Maharam, where she partnered with dealers, designers, and customers to deliver textile and material solutions. Her understanding of the specification process, along with her strong presence in the design community, made her a trusted partner across Minnesota and North Dakota.

“Tracy's diverse industry background and deep understanding of the design community make her an outstanding addition to the AMQ team. Her experience spanning interior design, the A+D community, and commercial interiors sales gives her a unique perspective that will help us strengthen relationships, uncover new opportunities, and continue growing our presence throughout the region,” said Amanda Hooper, Regional Sales Manager, Central.

She has worked closely with dealers, A+D firms, and corporate clients, supporting projects from concept through completion. Known for her collaborative and client-focused approach, Shand is passionate about creating positive project experiences and delivering spaces that enhance performance and well-being.

“I am excited to be in this role; it is the perfect fit—balancing my experience as a designer working with Steelcase products and space planning, while blending it with my years of product sales. I enjoy bringing energy to each project and celebrating a successful outcome, happy clients," said Shand.

Shand holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota’s College of Design and remains engaged in the design community.
